Blog and Podcast Update

I am back after an unexpected hiatus. Life was busy and keeping up became more than I imagined. After much reflection I want to come back and talk. I did start the podcast I mentioned months ago. I was nervous but I went for it anyway.

I’m so thankful for my soulmate bestie who truly pushed me and inspired me. I can’t wait for the content and for others to tune in and listen. I enjoy writing the scripts and being inspired on what to write in the script. I want to build and create. It’s been a while since my creativity has flowed into something I felt passionate about.

I know at times I’ll feel overwhelmed or blocked when writing but I know with the support and tools. I can keep this going and schedule content on my time.

Dear Past Me: Find your Strength

I recently downloaded an app that prompts daily journal entries and even dives deeper to give you some inspiration on what to write. It’s an interesting concept and journaling has always been a passion of mine. The prompt “Dear Past Me…” tugged at my heart strings and I wanted to share it with you all. Maybe you too can write something for the past you. The one that didn’t know where you’d be today.


Dear Past Me,

I’m sorry you had to go through this confusing life with many doubts. There were moments you thought and still think where you’re not enough. Who put that on you so young anyway?

Who are we trying to prove?

Did we always know this pressure would eventually find us?

People have and will poked holes. Your walls will sometimes crumble and you’ll rebuild again. But, there will also be people who pick you up and make you smile again. The ones who make you feel safe. I wish I could hug you and tell you it will be okay. But these experiences made us and formed us. It was hard but keep going. Keep pushing. Try to live in the moment and be happy. Make core memories and strive to create them as much as possible.

Podcast: Maybe

Blogging has always been an outlet that I enjoyed sporadically through the years. Sometimes I wonder if podcast would be fun or something I’d enjoy as well. Whether it be reading out some of the things I’ve read. Talk about my upcoming stories or dreams that have been crazy again. Sometimes sharing them helps understand it all.

Story in Progress

What have you been working on?

I started writing a story a while ago and have yet to complete it. The lack of time and energy gets to me sometimes. Some nights I’m exhausted and no creative energy.

Lately I’ve slowly gotten back into it. Plus blogging since I’ve missed it terrible. I have trouble finding my niche. I also don’t know if I should make it an adult romance or keep it young adult.

We will see with time since I’m also trying to work on myself and be better. Many unpredictable things come up but I hope to find some balance…
